Contract Catering.
JSIC runs facilities on contract on behalf of the owners or Landlords. Such services involve running Canteens, Restaurants, Gardens, Hotels and other Guest facilities. The institute is managing Raitz Garden Restaurant at the Zoo (UWEC) on a three year contract; it has been offering catering services to UPDF since 2001. In all our contracts our students are involved where they have gained expertise and confidence. Ceremonial Cake Making.
The Pastry Department under Chef Margaret takes bookings for wedding, birthday, graduation cakes and other functional cakes. Pastry practitioners who want to excel in Cake making, Icing techniques, Decorating techniques etc do tailor made courses.Functional Catering.
We cater for all functions by providing Outside Catering services on sport. This service is as old as the institute itself. The major functions we handle include; weddings, Graduations, Funerals, Introductions, Product Launches and Brandings, "No function is small for us" Through this service many of our former students have established outside catering services themselves.Food Delivery Services.
The institute was the fist to provide "Food on Wheels" having modified an existing van into a food van; and other establishment copied the service. We deliver office meals especially Salads, Sandwiches, Canapés, Tidbits, Pastries etc to different offices on call.Hire of Servers/Waiters.
Talk of servers on any function for hire the answer will be Jimmy Sekasi Students. This service has helped so many Functional Organizers, Hotels, Restaurants, Leisure Planners etc. there was a missing link and people didn’t know where to go when they had an influx of customers. Our students were a formidable team under the success hosting of the CHOGM in 2007 as most of the Hotels run to JSIC to beef up their Skeleton staff.Hospitality Consultancy.
JSIC makes Business Proposals and Needs Assessments for Hospitality facilities. We do Benchmark trainings, on the Job trainings, Staff appraisals and Assessments, Recruitments and Job placements, we can design your Kitchen, Restaurant etc to fit your customer preferences.
